Gunyah is an aboriginal word meaning ‘house’ or resting place – though this garden is always busy producing food, all year round.
Due to time constraints the garden cannot be toured without a booking. On your garden tour with Karen you may enjoy tasting our roof top bees honey, seasonal fruits and unusual herbs and receive the Gunyah Garden plant list. The garden has over 220 edible and useful plants to see and taste, although we cannot cover them all in one visit! Plants hail from Australia, Crete, South America, and a variety of climatic zones across the world. Unusual for most edible gardens, we grow a large number of shade-tolerant plants. If you have a special interest please let us know.
A garden tour of 1 hour can be organised for a minimum of $220.
Please send an enquiry to book.
