Grow Your Own Herbal Tea

Learn how to grow a selection of herbs and use them in teas for health and refreshment.

We wander through the garden to see the variety of herbs growing, then pick, smell and taste them as teas while discussing their health benefits. Herbs include natives such as Lemon Myrtle and River Mint.

The class also covers procedures for drying herbs and keeping them fresher for longer.


Time & Date: Sunday 6th March 2016 1.30pm - 3.30pm

Cost: $50 per person, $45 per person if payment is received 3 days prior to the event.

Location: Gunyah Garden, or elsewhere by arrangement.

Duration: 2 hours.

Class size: Minimum 6, Maximum 12

Includes: Course notes, refreshments from the garden and a packet of seeds saved from Karen’s garden.
