Tonight (Wednesday) at 7.30 I'm talking about native food plants at Melton Botanic Gardens. A bit of a hike for some but well worth it. I've had the pleasure of getting to know the gorgeous volunteers here over the last year or so and am constantly amazed by what they've achieved here. This BG is a great resource for those interested in native plants, as they have a new Bush Food garden, a local indigenous garden amongst many other specific gardens. They have reached out to the local indigenous community for the making of a well used Bora circle amongst other projects. This is a happy sanctuary for people, plants and wildlife in the middle of a windswept plain! Worth a visit any time. They have a plant nursery too.
