Street garden loving spring! Salad for lunch

Street garden loving spring! Salad for lunch as these self-seeded lettuces (we did move some) are so lush at the moment. The sign helps discourage the removal of whole plants, well so far! Added some which thrives in this exposed garden area and of course and some colourful red flowered broad beans, with a mild broad bean flavour. I don't mind eating the flowers of this variety as they don't set many pods anyway. I do make sure some set seed so I can grow them each year. It's a bit cold still for the bees still, so no pods yet, but when I see the bees busy on the I tend to stop or slow picking flowers so the pods develop.
