Red currants in Switzerland. I gave up growing currants in my part of Melbourne some time ago as it's just too hot and often too dry for them but here they thrive! This is the garden of my sister's 90 year old neighbour after she harvested a huge bucket of them for us. Tart but tasty, they are full of vitamin C and are delicious eaten with Swiss stuff like yoghurt for breakfast or as a pick me up snack.
